Itinerary:

 

Day 1 DUBROVNIK Overnight in Dubrovnik (Croatia). 

Welcome to Croatia! And right away to one of a kind, Pearl of Adriatic - the old town Dubrovnik. Your guide will meet you at Dubrovnik Airport and transfer you to your accommodation. After you check in, we suggest you to relax yourself during the afternoon walk in old town of Dubrovnik.In the evening, we invite you to enjoy dinner in one of many Dubrovnik restaurants.

Day 2 EXPLORING DUBROVNIK. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

This whole day is reserved for exploring and enjoying in our Pearl of Adriatic - the old town Dubrovnik. The great George Bernard Shaw wrote: "Those who seek paradise on Earth must come to Dubrovnik" and he was as many others overjoyed by the beauty and rich history of this old town under the UNESCO protection. Its glorious walls, with their fortresses and bastions, offer a unique walk with view of the magical Elafiti islands. From the Onofrio fountain to the City bell tower, along its main street, Stradun and in many other small cobblestone streets, every step in this town will be an experience par excellence. In the afternoon, we invite you to collect more impressions of Dubrovnik and enjoy this beautiful city.

Day 3 DUBROVNIK - PELJEŠAC PENINSULA - SPLIT. Overnight in Split.

Today we are leaving Dubrovnik and heading up north along dramatic Croatian coast line. On our way to Split, we will drive through the Neretva valley and visit town Ston on the beginning of the Pelješac peninsula, known for the 3,5 miles long fortification complex dating from the 14th century. Mali Ston and Ston area are known for great and fresh seafood especially oysters which are grown in the Mali Ston bay. We will also visit one of Ston restaurants to try local specialities before leaving for Split where we stay for two days.

Day 4 EXPLORING SPLIT. Overnight in Split.

Today your your guide will take you for a walk through the "most beautiful city in the world", how Split if often called by its citizens. You'll visit the Diocletian Palace in the heart of Split, built as a residential palace in 3rd century AD by the Roman Emperor Diocletian and a priceless monument included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Enjoy the heart of Split - the famous Split waterfront or Riva where you will feel the friendly and cozy atmosphere of this vibrant city.

​Day 5 SPLIT - PLITVICE LAKES. Overnight on Plitvice lakes.

Today, after breakfast our journey today takes you to the most famo

us natural wonder of Croatia and this part of Europe - Plitvice Lakes national park. On the way we'll stop in Rastoke miller village, unique example of traditional 17th century village architecture which once had more than 50 water mills built on a breathtaking waterfalls. Just 25 min further south we we'll start a comfortable hike along the sixteen beautiful and crystal-clear lakes with numerous cascades and waterfalls. After 4 hours easy walk we will be checking in in our hotel within National park. Tonight we invite you for a typical Lika (Plitvice region) dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 6 PLITVICE LAKES - OPATIJA - ROVINJ. Overnight in Rovinj.

This morning we continue to Istria, witht our final destination in charming town of Rovinj. This region is a home of truffles, wine and olive oil. Also, it is often called "Little Toscany" because it reminds many of this Italian region. Our first stop is Opatija, Adriatic jewel and the oldest sea side resort in Croatia dating from Austro-Hungarian times. After Opatije we continue to Pula, an ancient Roman city with the second best preserved amphitheater in the world . Later in the aftrenoon we arrive to Rovinj, beautiful coastal town built during the reign of Venitan republic. Rovinj is also one of the most prosperous Croatian towns today as well as popular Croatian tourist destination due to beautiful architecture, great cuisine and one of the most beautiful sunset points on the Adriatic sea.

Day 7 ROVINJ - LAKE BLED - LJUBLJANA. Overnight in Ljubljana.

After breakfast we are leaving Rovinj in order to visit our neighbouring country, Slovenia. After an easy and comfortable 2 hour drive we reach Bled, the hidden jewel of Julian Alps. Bled lake with it's island and castle on top of the rock often reminds one of a fairy tale seen in the movies. We'll explore Bled castle offering stunning views on Slovenian Alps and have time for a relaxing stroll next to the lake and take some great photos. Later in the afternoon, just 40 min away from Bled we arrive to Ljubljana, Slovenian capital. This charming city has a town vibe and atmosphere always calls for a short stroll next to Ljubljanica river or for a view from the Old town castle from which you can see the whole Slovenia. We'll take a stroll in Ljubljana city center visiting some of the main city sites like Triple bridge, Dragon bridge, Ljubljana old town/castle.

Day 8 LJUBLJANA - POSTOJNA CAVES - VENICE. Overnight in Venice.

Today we are leaving Ljubljana and heading south to Venice being our final destination. Our first stop after an hour drive is Postojna, the biggest cave system in Europe and one of the most visited sites in Slovenia, a real Karst phenomenon and masterpiece if nature. After Postojna we  are passing through Slovenian coastal part in half an hour drive and we reach Trieste, eastern most Italian city. We'll take a walk on Piazza Unita D'Italia, visit Roman theatre di Trieste, Ponte Rosso walk with a must have coffee break before we continue to Venice. We arrive to Venice, San Marco later in the afternoon.

Day 9 EXPLORING VENICE. Overnight in Venice.

Today is reserved for exploring Venice. Your local guide will take you around San Marco island to introduce the main sights: San Marco Basilica, San Marco square, Rialto bridge, Bridge of sighs...and many more. The rest of the day is at your leisure. We invite you to visit Murano island for famous glass or just enjoy the boat ride in many venecian channels.

Day 10 VENICE departure - Airport transfer. The end of the tour.

Today is the last day of our tour. Your guide will take you to Venice Airport where you are expecting your flight back home. We wish you a safe journey and we hope that you will always gladly remember Dubrovnik to Venice tour and have great memories of these days spent with us. Goodbye!
